Lakers better off without Kobe?

Did he make them better or the other way around?

MJ won six chips with Pippen and his supporting cast.

How many did Kobe win without Shaq? And Kobe was younger...

Jordan is better than Kobe, and played in a much, much easier conference.

It's surprising he could only win 6.

Of course you know Kobe won 2 post Shaq.

Swaggy 1-6 and a 20 point blow out.

Time to be a Pro Nick.

Really Nick 5 of 16 versus Dallas.

It was less than two weeks ago that Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan for third-place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with a free throw, and prior to Thursday night’s Lakers-Bulls Christmas matchup, Bryant opened up about what that accomplishment meant to him.

“It was more of a thankful feeling to Michael and to the players that came before,” Bryant said Thursday night outside the Lakers locker room. “Because I’ve learned so much from them, and I don’t say that lightly. Like I’ve literally just stole sh*t from them. You know what I mean? Like spin moves and pull-ups and stuff like that. It’s not me passing these players. It’s us. I’ve literally taken things from their game and made them my own.”

Bryant said it’s no different in today’s NBA, as he’s seen younger players imitate specific moves he’s perfected.

“Oh, yeah. I do (see it). And it’s fun. I think it’s great,” Bryant said. “I think that’s the way the game should be – you learn from those that came before and you carry the game forward.”

Bryant was asked specifically whether Nick Young, the team’s second-leading scorer, had stolen anything, and Bryant did miss a beat.

“One-two dribble pull-ups. The mouth? Not so much.”

Yeah Swaggy missed the mouth part.
