GDT: Hornets @ Bucks

I said it last night... Lance was talking with Pargo after the win and then Lance busted out in laughter with a huge smile. It made me feel so bad for him. I truly feel he doesn't intend to wear on teammate or chemistry like he does, but it just happens. I want to see him do well, but it just won't be here... I do feel bad for him, but we just don't need him and he needs to be moved asap.

Call me idiotic but let's not get ahead of ourselves. We have beaten 1 horrible team, 2 bad teams and 1 below average team. The potential for us being a better team is with Lance buying into the team. We are an above average team without him and a good team with him if he buys in which is a big if.

One thing I will say is that I like Hendo with the starters. He fits so much better there. I would love for Lance to have the Ginobli place on our team but who knows if he will ever accept it.

Why not have Lance be the primary gaurd with the second unit. Roberts doesn't really do much except add a 3 point threat which he hasn't done very well with this season. Lance needs the ball in his hands and is a very good passer. Not the best situation but it is really one of the only ways I can think to use him right now with the way the team has been playing.

I agree and have been saying this for a while. Put the shooters around him and let him facilitate.

I guess the question is how would Lance respond when media portrays it as getting benched. And will he pout and play half assed

And if we beat the Thunder you'll say "We've only beaten one good team, etc."

Sometimes players simply do not fit the roster. With Lance we were SIX AND NINETEEN and without him we are now 4-0 with virtually every player in the lineup looking infinitely more effective than they were without him.

Not one time during this streak have I found myself saying "If only we had Lance in this situation." Your entire premise rests on Lance buying into this offensive system. An offensive system which he clearly does not fit.

He is shooting something like 15 percent from three, the offense runs 1000 times better, and players have improved seemingly out of nowhere. There's no justification for putting him in the lineup at this point.

I can't rebut anything you are saying. We look worlds better without him then with him. I just feel like it would be too soon to give up on him.

I think it wears on the team mates because he's so expressive plus he needs the ball in his hands and that takes away from Ball movement, as well as the touches that Al and Kemba get. All three need the ball and that just doesn't work, you need players that play well off the ball to go along with ball dominate players and 3 in a lineup doesn't seem to work well.

I feel like we could move Lance if it was just a dump. We're not getting any assets back unless something major changes.

Umm, the offers received basically required us to give us something good to move Lance. It it is considered a dump, we are paying a dumping fee.

All the better that he is on a two year deal. Send his ass to the d league to show off for all I care at this point.

I'm with you. Let Lance run the point with the 2s along with Neal, PJ and Marvin. Over the last couple games, it really seems like PJ can guard a 3. It may be a small lineup, but I think they could put up points.

Too bad we can't play the Nuggets and Bucks the rest of the schedule.

I get that they aren't elite teams we have beaten. But there is something to be said for beating said teams handidly. The three games before the Bucks we won by 21.8 points per game. If we were squeaking by I would not put that much stock in it. But we are crushing these teams. And the Bucks have played pretty well this season. They have played with some of the best teams in the league.

At the very least it is building confidence.

I agree, was really just a tongue in cheek comment. Wasn't trying to discount the victories or anything.

Honestly I don't care who they beat as long as they aren't losing.
