Atlanta is a favorable matchup

The problem I have with this game is that we can win in a close one but so can they..........but if there is going to be a blow out they have the weapons to do it to us....but I doubt we can do that to them.........unless......

We use PghPanther's keys to winning big.........

My keys to winning big start with good fundamental football.......first we play to move the chains especially in the first half of the game...ball control...........not bombs and crap like that on 2nd and short............use lots of play action pass with Cam option to scramble.............. hell that play gets 5 yards every time.....

We need to keep our D fresh by keeping them off the field................but keep theirs on the field so by the second half we can shove Stewart down their throats and scramble Cam while their D has their tongues hanging out......

What I do not want to see are opening drives with two runs up the middle and a 3rd and long with a forced pass play short of the 1st down marker that the whole world knows is coming.........leverage your options on the first two downs with the goal to be 3rd and short or a first down....that is winning football............

Hold that for 3 quarters then you blow it out in the 4th quarter on them...................

Carolina wins with a 200+ rushing stat

Atlanta wins with a defensive/special teams TD

Both teams are prime for their best game of the season. Should be a really good game, I just hope we play fast on offense, Cam makes quick decisions. Defense and Special Teams absolutely have to lock it down.

Carolina - 27

Atlanta - 26

Player for player, we match up very well against them.

They have zero pass rush, and we have a mediocre line, I would not expect much pressure from Osi or Kroy.

They have an awful o-line, and their top tackle will not be assigned to Charles Johnson, who is playing like a top five DE the last five weeks.

Their best weapon is Julio Jones, he will be shadowed all game by Josh Norman, who has worked wonders against top receivers.

Their running game is not special, and Kuechly + Star should pretty much eliminate it all together, think, 2.1 ypc.

The Falcons are 1-9 against mobile qbs the last two seasons, they do not have anyone who can spy on a mobile qb, and they cannot create enough separation on the edges to contain them, which means Cam should go nuts.

They are straight awful against teams who are run first and have a physical defense, I can't think of the last physical team they have beat.

All in all, it would be tough to lose this game, if White goes nuts on the other side it could be tough sledding, but either way, I think we win in style.

Panthers - 24

Falcons - 13

Atlanta's oline has been very good the last four weeks. I'd say top ten in the league.

You say you can't remember the last physical team they beat. Unless you're calling the panthers soft, where were you that day?

Atlanta has also become physical at the line of scrimmage. They're playing the run very well.

I don't believe in osi and kroy, but kroy has looked decent the last few weeks.

Both teams have improved since the last game. Should be a good match up

I'd be careful saying they have zero pass rush.  They pressured Brees all day this past Sunday.  Their defensive line is playing better now than they were when we faced them earlier.

Also, lets not kid ourselves into thinking that any pass rush can't be great against Byron Bell.
