Last week Jeremy posted a topic about Philly turning his back on the play where Stewart fumbled at the goal line. He would've been in perfect position to recover the fumble but was instead just walking away.

If you watch this Stewart run from yesterday, not only does Philly make a crucial block (that looked like a pancake to me) to help set up the run, he then (after hesitating a bit) hustled his ass off to be there right in the play as Stewart is tackled, ready to recover any potential fumble.

I love to see this development in a young player who has impressed from day 1. People have wanted Rivera gone for much of this season, but can development in young players like this be attributed to his coaching?

I've really enjoyed watching him late in the season, and hope that he's playing as well as he looks (granted, I don't really know where he's blowing routes, missing blocks, etc...).  IF (big if) Stephen Hill doesn't actually suck, and can be salvaged for next year, then we have a couple burners who can go deep, and a decent possession guy in Bersin.  Put them together with KB and Olsen and it really looks like the line is the only missing link in a draft year that's deep at the OT position.

It's nice to be excited for the future. :)

I noticed the exact same things; the block, the hesitation and the run going over some tape today. Good eyes.

Agreed, things are looking better around these parts for a change.
