Fishing over the holidays?

just really pisses me off that there are a chosen few here that can't help themselves and have a snarky post when someone is trying to be excited about this team. Do we have problems, yes. Are we in the playoff hunt? yes. I don't understand the negativity.

anyways back to .........

I really like Frank but I cannot think of any memorable moment in his career as a pro other than receiving the same award that Armanti received from Rivera and being suspended twice.

so I'm a little confused as to why people are reacting as if he were the second coming of Hardy (whom I originally had Frank pegged to replace)

People talked poo about Stew, Norman, and Rivera.  Now they are talking poo about Big Frank.

Now it doesn't necessarily apply to Stew (because his injuries were just bad luck), but suffice it to say it is true to certain levels of extent about the others:

They just need to get out of their own way.

If Frank Alexander can keep his priorities straight, then he is likely more talented than many in the Huddle give him credit for, and he has starting caliber talent in the league.

I believe people are excited about him coming back because he was the training camp MVP and considering the other DEs we have frank must of been great in TC. I believe there was a lot of talk about Frank improving during the offseason. Considering Frank is still young and has a bunch of potential it's only a matter of time before he puts everything together and becomes a starting caliber DE.

The hyperbole on this thread, in both directions is sad.  Frank, iirc, was a fourth round Hurney pick, which means

he shouldn't even be playing football right now.  He didn't show much his first year, which is VERY common for

DE's, even early round choices.

I haven't followed the whole story, but apparently he had a family situation and probably smoked some weed (now legal is some states).

He got punished twice, but now is allowed to play, and apparently has stayed in shape to play.  He may have been a training camp

MVP, but it shows that he moved on and was ready to give full effort for this team this year.  I think we have reason to be hopeful,

and I want him to get game time that he needs in the Atlanta game and anything beyond.  Greg is gone,  Charles very well may be with his 20 million

dollar cap hit next year, and we need Frank to at least be a good part of our rotation.   And I think he can be.  How about giving him a chance?
