Julio Jones - the problem child

Why are you people talking to basement boy Willy.. Ignore his post at all cost. We say Julio has never really gotten off on us and he mentions 1 game in 4 season. Do you realize the logic you're dealing with??

To answer the question.. We have to do what we always do in wins over the Falcons. Beat them up.. Rough them up in the trenches, hit their Wr's hard when ever they catch the ball, rag doll Matt Ryan like the punk he is..

The Falcons have always been a finesse team that doesn't like getting roughed up. So lets run the ball down their throats on offense and beat up Ryan and his skill position players on defense. Then you'll start to see the miss tackles from their defense and off throws and drop passes from their offense. .

... and be intense & focused for a full 60 minutes.

We got this.

Norman doesn't that well in reality. Norman isn't actually that fast. Julio is.

If Ryan has time. Norman can't cover Julio presently. No one is doing it.

If 'presently' means since the last time they played the Panthers, then I agree.  Norman was effective during the last game.

We have to score, simple as that.  We'll be playing arena football in the dome.  We can't have Shula being Shula in the redzone.  Field goals won't help.   Need to score 25-30 and hope we get some pressure.  Maybe Frank Alexander will help the dline rotation a bit.

Sadly I can see multiple plays of Harper getting torched coming up.

This is where the Huddle is simply WRONG!

For the 1,000th time. This Panther's team is going NO WHERE if it depends on its talent-less, basically an afterthought, offense.

I have no idea where the Huddle gets the idea that all off-season the Panthers can ignore the offense side of the football, dump our limited resources into the defense...and then when every thing on the line talk about "we have to score."

No, no we don't. We NEED the defense to SHUT DOWN the Falcons. We need the offense to not turn over the ball, and otherwise GET OUT of the way of the defense. The Panthers are not "an arena" team on offense. We were not INTENDED nor our we ACTUALLY an "arena offense."

For the 1,000th time, if you are EXPECTING THIS offense to score more than 16 points, you are smoking crack.

The Falcons have the 32nd ranked D.

We average 20 pts per game on the year

Very bad offenses should be expected to score more than 16 pts on them. We should be expected to score ABOVE our average on the 32nd ranked D.

Don't see how that is thinking we will be an arena league offense

Yep. and the last time out, we managed to score just 17 points. 14 of which came in the 4th quarter. And when it came time for the offense to score and put the game further out of reach, it failed--as it was supposed to.

Our team's offense should not be expected to score 20 points on anyone without massive help from our defense.

The fact of the matter is that our defense needs to hold the Falcons to below 14 points to give our team a realistic shot at the division. This is what the Panthers have spent the better part of 4 years trying to accomplish...it is on defense to make a return on that investment.

The whole we did x and this game so the same should be expected isn't something I grasp.

Falcons suck major balls. We played poorly. Of we don't play poorly for most of the game we should be expected to score more than 16 on the worst D in the NFL.

Things have changed since our last meeting. That holds true for all divisional games across the league.

Is Chandler going to be out there? Is Williams going to be starting? All that changes things. Atl will have changes too.

We average 20 pts this season.....and we havent had massive help for our D along the way. So I don't get your argument
