Julio Jones - the problem child

You misremember

You just "misremembered"about him even playing in the game. Nothing personal obv but give it up man. There is tape out there of him covering megatron and doing a good job at it. That's around the time I was flaming Cason heavily. 22% of snaps is not a bunch but one would think his skills speak for themselves at this point because he has shown to be pretty consistent against some upper echelon talent.

Big difference.

I said I couldn't remember him playing.

Other stance was he started and shutdown Megatron all game.

Reality was he didn't start and played 22% of the snaps. I'd say my misremembering was much closer to what occured.

Norman hype would mean more if he did it against better competiton....and had shown consistancy.

He has done it against dysfunctional....not upper echelon.

Julio has now entered a zone where despite playing for Atl.....if Norman cools him off then THAT will be something

Agreed on the last part. Norman is coming into his own there is no denying that. But the dysfunction you are talking about doesn't apply because those receivers were stil producing against competition. We just need to see more from him. It's not a bad thing to be excited about how he's played. That pick yesterday was one of the best I've ever seen.

Gordon, Evans, Patterson? In Norman's window of excellence they haven't been that impressive.

Sunday will be it. Not sure there is a WR hotter in the game. That will show of the recent hype is deserved....at least how I view things.

And yeah, that INT was sick.

Wrong is wrong though so own that.

Dysfunctional. Lol. Okay man.

Im not hyping him. Im calling it how I see it but you obviously see things a bit differently. He's done well against good receivers. It's obvious to pretty much everyone except you. The fact that you were taking up for Cason when he was playing 10 times worse is very telling. It just seems from the outside looking in that you have a problem giving Norman props. I'm not asking you to slob his knob for gods sake.

Gordon and Evans.

Also Norman is great in run support. We honestly havent played much good competition if you really look at it. This Sunday with Julio will be his biggest test. Jj is on a tear right now

Falcons, Browns, Saints, Tampa....those are some pretty dysfunctional teams. Atl seems to now be on the rise some but yeah.....we play in the worst division in the NFL and included in that was the Johnny Football sideshow. That is a pretty dysfunctional stretch.

Minny game is hard to judge bc ST just imploded everything.

I have given Norman props repeatedly for improving and liking the direction he is trending. He just has a long way to go still....so people who think he is a top 15 CB aren't gonna like that talk

That is our problem come Sunday.

555 yards the past 3 weeks. He has done so against better secondaries than ours (for all the people that will quickly reply we have Norman)

We have to win upfront IMO. BIG time come Sunday. Julio is playing the best of his career right now

I disagree with the idea that Atlanta has played against better secondaries (New Orleans 29th, Pittsburgh 27th, Green Bay 10th, Arizona 30th) than ours (9th) in the past few weeks.

I do agree that he's a problem and must be stopped at all costs.

We're talking receivers man. It can't be that hard to comprehend. He has played well against talented receivers in the NFL. These wrs on "dysfunctional" squads have no problem lighting up other cbs. He's played well point blank period. You just seem stubborn and have seemed that way since you were defending Antoine freaking Cason getting burned over and over again.

And yes he does have a ways to go. But I'm hoping you don't find other cherry picked caveats if/when his improvement does occur.
