Rivera: "Learned from first Atlanta game to stay aggressive"

ron is just dumb with occassional flashes of not being dumb but then reverting back to being dumb quickly.

they didn't stay aggressive yesterday. they backed off and the browns caught the lead. then we had to get aggressive all over again to come back. the browns shouldn't have come as close to winning as they had. we got the lead, went into the half and tapped the brakes. it was the same ol' story we'd seen time and time again. fortunately cam was able to make things turn around, but we need to not have to rely on that.

i'm beyond the point of believing he's turned a new leaf because we see it all the time. we are vying for a chance at the playoffs now in spite of him...actually you could say that we would have won the division outright were it not for him forgetting everythiung he supposedly learned last year and turning back to paddleboat ron instead of riverboat.

Thank the football gods Stewart ran for 30 on 3rd and 5.....otherwise Browns would have had a minute to attempt a game winning drive.

Yes, but I think there's a 95% chance that if they had that minute to score that they still wouldn't have. Our D was playing lights out other than 1 play.

I was doing family Xmas stuff and didn't get to see the game, but I saw that we started kneeling to run the clock down with like 2 minutes left on the 2 yard line instead of scoring. How does this fit in with the 'stay aggressive' philosophy?

Actually it was 1.36 minutes left, first down and Browns had zero timeouts left.

We'll have to look at the game tape and see where we can improve.
