Do We Have a Kicking Problem?

You mean those misses he had to kick on the edge of acceptable range and the 60 yarder he was forced to kick against atl that was tipped? We dont have a kicking problem, we have a coaching problem

He missed an earlier kick in the ATL game and missed a average range kick in CIN.

I'd look into kicker competition next preseason. Some guys hit long range better and there are going to be close games where a 50yd fg will be the difference between winning and losing. With Gano we'll be losing every game unless we get him a 30yd FG.

Every player on the team should be pushed for their job every training camp.

off topic but it Looks like the NFL are going to experiment with shortening the width of the posts in the pro bowl.

Personally find it to be a rather stupid idea. Just leave the goal posts alone already. The only field goal that isn't difficult is usually the extra point for Christ's sake. I've seen plenty of barely missed kicks and blocks to make FG's still be exciting.

Yeah I think narrowing the goal posts is a bad idea. They want teams to go for it on 4th down but what happens when they punt instead? Just because a high % of close range field goals are made doesn't mean it needs to be changed. It just makes a 30 yard missed field goal that much bigger of a deal.

Everyone remembers the epic misses.
