Why does Atlanta and for that matter 4 other southern NFL locals have domes,it's not like the Winters are very cold?

the new ATL stadium will have a retractable roof.  (remember the last ATL superbowl with the ice storm? The NFL isn't having the super bowl back in ATL unless there's a reason to do so, like a new stadium)

Me too I been a fan my whole life and I just turned 23 and never been to a home or away Panthers game. I want to go to at least one soon. I'm thinking about going next season when the Panthers play the Colts at home.
