Most NFL media people are predicting Panthers/Falcons will be flexed to SNF

Realistically you get to watch both. CBS and Fox structure it so all 4 games you get at 1:00 and 4:25 are important/good games.

The problem with that is, most early games are regional games where you watch your home team play. So it would be difficult to show a National type game there.

SD/KC is a big west coast game. And is exactly like our game. Winner is in, loser is out.

Ah hellz, it's too much to think about.

It isn't really winner take all. Kansas City needs a lot of help to get in, even if they win.

TEN and JAG have consistently been woeful. The two teams we are talking about have both been in the post season within the last two years.

100% IRRELEVANT.

Apples and Oranges.

What anyone has done in the past is IRRELEVANT.

We are talking about deciding the final playoff spot. If Tennessee and Jacksonville were playing for the final AFC spot, what they've done in the past wouldn't mean squat to whether they can go to the playoffs now. If they were playing for something, it might help their chances of getting flexed since Jacksonville never does.

You chose the wrong teams to use as an example. Teams that have consistently been bad. If NE had a bad season but had a chance to get into the playoffs against a team one season removed from the playoffs, that pedigree carries.

1. I didn't bring up Tennessee and Jacksonville.

2. If Tennessee and Jacksonville were playing for the final Playoff spot in their Conference like Carolina and Atlanta will be them sucking in past seasons would be IRRELEVANT.

God, people's inability to have a consistent train of thought is infuriating!

Someone brought up Tennessee and Jacksonville as a reason for why Carolina and Atlanta shouldn't be flexed, simply because Green Bay and Detroit have bigger names and fanbases.

That's the DUMBEST of reasons not to flex a game. The game with the biggest playoff implications makes the most sense to flex. If Jacksonville and Tennessee were in such a game, they should be flexed too.
