Most NFL media people are predicting Panthers/Falcons will be flexed to SNF

"Fans" are irrelevant, Mr. Clueless.

For a "national" game, Carolina @ Atlanta matters more because it will be for the final spot in the Playoffs, and for the other reasons I've already stated.

Can you be objective? I can. Just because two teams have better records doesn't mean their game is more marketable.

If Atlanta was already in and Carolina could make it, I'd be saying Green Bay and Detroit.

Well, aren't you just special. So glad to know you have such a high opinion of your own opinion that you can be so dismissive of others. But, by all means, carry on.

But...you don't mind if I just go ahead and believe that the vast majority of national fans could care less about atl/Car. Last playoff spot or not. Most fans would rather watch 2 11-4 teams fight it out for that #2 seed.

Fox will take the good game. Leaving us to play on NBC. NBC gets shafted, and we get a night game.

Yeah, 2 small market teams with losing records is a catch of a game. I am sure the networks are fighting to get our game.

However, if Fox gets the good game of GB/DET, NBC gets STUCK with us. It is a consolation prize, not a gift.

I am positive most fans would rather watch 2 teams fight it out for the #2 seed, than 2 losing teams fight for a Division crown.

The only fans that want to see atl/CAR are atl/CAR fans.

I remember Rams and Seahawks a few years back in Seattle when the winner (7-9) made the playoffs was the flex final game of the year

As I said before, Fox doesn't have refusal right for week 17. NBC can take whatever they want.

The reason they will move ours to primetime is what people have already said, essentially and elimination game. It will be like a playoff game. Any other game between teams that have already made it into the post season might result in what we saw with DAL vs IND today. Indy was already in and did not give a fock.

Or NBC gets the game it wanted all along, since it's the one with the biggest implications. If GB and DET were playing for the #1 seed, that would change things. Just the NFC North title for two teams already in isn't that big a deal nationally like the final playoff spot.

DET/GB is 1 11-4 teams fighting for that precious #2 seed. That game is the marquee game of the weekend.

We are a sub 500 team, people don't care about us. Division game or not. We are not getting that prime time game.

Getting the number two seed is not as precious as getting into the playoffs.

It wouldn't be about the "Division," it would be about the final Playoff spot.

Makes a lot more sense for Fox to put GB-DET at 4:30PM, and for the final playoff spot to be decided in primetime.
