Where's Sherrod Martin at??

I haven't heard his name called at all this preseason yet...what's his deal!?!

I have some high hopes for him, especially w/ Lucas out...Munnerlyn has completely outplayed Martin so far...

Yeah thats a good question, I haven't heard it either. I have heard a good bit about Mullerlyn, if is spelled that right. Maybe Martin is taking a back seat and the Captain is starting to drive a little

i think munnerlyn(sp?) is definately ahead, martin plays with the 3's & 4's

boy do we look silly for taking him over sean smith, at least right now

no, but i don't exactly like seeing our 2nd rounder playing with the scrubs

C.J. wilson and the captain have been matching him or outplaying him at camp also

so we're doing ok at the CB position but more was expected out of martin.

DB's name gets called, it means that something went wrong and they made up for it or got burned bigtime. Martin hasn't looked good because he isn't getting playtime over Munnerlyn and Wilson. He'll still make the team, but only for depth purposes. The steal in the secondary is definately Munnerlyn.

The depth chart for this game for the CBs was just like last game which is weird cause I thought Wesley made the switch to FS. It was like this:

1. Gamble

2. Marshall

3. Wilson

4. Wesley

5. Munnerlyn

6. Martin

Martin looked pretty darn good to me. I haven't seen Munnerlyn do anything in an actual game that leads me to believe that he's outplaying Martin at CB.

Munnerlyn lined up a few times against the first and second stringers. Miami threw away from him, just like NY. Mofo's are scared of a ROOKIE. It's not that Martin is doing poorly, Munnerlyn is just doing that well.
