Skynyrd is under appreciated.  Most people only know of the Sweet Home Alabama/Three Steps/Free Bird/Simple Man songs.  I hate Alabama/Three Steps because they don't even really feel like Skynyrd, compared to the rest of their stuff.   The best Skynyrd songs IMO are the ones not many people have heard, like "Cry For the Bad Man", "I need You", "Searching", etc.  I encourage anyone to check out their discography as a whole, it's really great (not the crap version of the band after the plane crash).  

agreed, there was no skynyrd after the plane crash, just like there is no GNR after Slash.The one time it actually worked is when Van Halen became Van Hagar.
