GDT: Hornets vs. Jazz

Heyward is a SG.

They wanted him to replace Hendo, not MKG.

I doubt that's how MKG sees it. And Heyward is a wing, not exclusively a two or three... Cho was also asked about MKG at the end of last season iirc, and he did not include him among the "core players" going forward, so either way, if MKG viewed it as they tried to sign Heyward but haven't committed to him, I'm sure it would still get him up for this game.

No way Lance starts another game for us, if Clifford messes with this lineup now and starts Lance instead of Hendo, he needs to go asap. There is no denying this is a completely different team without Lance.

Hairston is beyond awful, sure he sunk a 3 or 2 but aside from that he is downright terrible. Kemba is budding into a superstar and hes only 24, I was down on Kemba but I have to admit that since I switched to directv I can finally now watch the games and after seeing him play there is no denying Kemba is a playmaker and a cornerstone of this team

Lol you just don't stop. It's obv you know nothing and you fake it every fuging game.

They going to let Lance get fully healed and go on a winning streak and then try Lance out again in early January and see if the team sparks then.... If not, then maybe you'll see him traded. Not before they try him again in the starting lineup though.

Hendo was hurt last year. That's one of the things that gets lost in the hendo hate. Hendo has been above 60% from the field over the past five.

I am a Hendo hater but if he continues to his level of play I may reconsider but I do see Lance as a problem after two straight games of great team play.

Philly and Utah both suck. The Hornets were SUPPOSED TO compete for a top 4 seed which means beating better teams than these two. Nothing has changed since Thursday.

The Charlotte Hornets offseason overview: Almost 20 million dollars and two first rounders for:

A stretch 4 who isn't a stretch 4 and has been relegated to the bench where he should have been all along

A chucking shooting guard who needs time in the d-league to get his shot right

A raw project that will not see the floor this season no matter the circumstances

And the coup de gras... a shooting guard who is actually worse in this system than the incumbent who needs to be replaced and has been nothing but a thorn in the side of what was a very easy-to-root-for locker room.

Outstanding. The best signing was Brian freaking Roberts.

You gonna bump that I hate Utah thread?

How's that max contract working out for them?

Yes, I still hate Utah. Charlotte is a top 4 seed with Heyward. He is exactly what we needed.

Utah's record is completely irrelevant to his fit here. He's played great this year. He's on a terrible roster & plays in the West.

But go on and continue with your stupid, repetitive troll.

Tonight was more an exhibition of MKG being an outstanding shutdown wing than Hayward being overrated.

I still love our flexibility, but had we actually made something of the money we had, Gordon Hayward would be a non-issue.
