When we look better offensively tomorrow night will you take it into consideration?

Sure. We looked better, but the Sixers played some of the worst defense I've seen in a while. Utah isn't a ton better, but we've looked bad against bad teams this year. No matter who it was against it was good to get a double digit win finally.

The stat that sticks out is FG%. If he could just improve it a few points, it would make a big difference given his volume of shots.

Personally I disagree.

Over the last five games Walker is averaging an even 19 shots per game while shooting .49%

In comparison, James Harden shoots .41% on 18.8 shots per game. If you want to compare him to another point guard let's look at Westbrook who averages 18.8 shots per game and shoots 47% from the field. In fact, there is only two point guards in the NBA that shoot an upwards of 50% from the field and both of then average less than 13 shots per game.

Our fans complain about Kemba and Al waaay too much

Al is a one dimensional player on the downside of his career and in a contract year. He stops ball movement to go iso on offense much like Lance, the difference is he is in the post and usually scores.

Going forward I think we would be better off in the long run moving on from Al, whose flaws are more obvious this season. That's not to take anything away from Al, it's just that he, like Lance, doesn't fit the rest of the roster.

I think you misunderstood me.

Kemba is a sub 40 career shooter. He's shooting much better than that now. On close to 20 attempts per game, increasing 10% in FG means making 4 more shots a game. That's what has elevated Kemba from a normally 16 ppg to 25 ppg player over the past two weeks.

I don't expect Kemba to shoot 49%. If he could shoot 45% though, on his attempts per game it is worth probably 4 ppg.

Ohhhhh okay yeah I understand.

He's a volume shooter like Westbrook, you just have to live with his bad games. However, when he gets 18+ shots we're usually in good shape.

I'm glad we got the much needed win tonight, but Cliff pissed me off when he pulled Biz for Cody late in the third when he had only been in a few minutes and got a great hustle follow up tip in. Then we started to get beat up inside and on the boards. Biz works so hard, he needs more minutes.
