I say this as I know the guitar player or now former guitar player for them. A Fayettevillian...

Forgot to add they are also Puddle of Muddish..i know noone in that band however.

Look both Nickelback and Puddle of Mud have some good songs. Stop hating and start appreciating!

Seriously, stop being a bitch.

Never heard of BTAM.

Missed a letter, it was supposed to be BTBAM.  Between the buried and me.

1. they mix a ton of different styles into their music, which really makes their music sound unique. Plus their albums always flow nicely from start to end.

2. They rarely make a bad song. Pretty much everything in their catalog is amazing.

3. They are from NC and I grew up watching them perform.

ok, well i've never heard of them either.

Look, this is a discussion of the best rock band since Nirvana, not the best rock band with a name that you would never remember even if it were used as an acronym. So please stop derailing the discussion of important stuff.

That was the point of me adding them, being a huge fan of the indie Seattle grunge movement, including but not limited to just Nirvana and 2 of BTBAM. Buried is clearly better the seether.

Every one of those damn pop-alt-rock bands just plays variations of Em-C with dudes harmonizing about their deep stricken emotions. If it's what floats your boat, have at it.  I always mixed them up with like Staind, Shinedown, Nickelback and that whole area of "rock"

Typical chord progressions: Em-C, C-Am-Em, G-Em-C9

Keywords: Memory, Women, Heartbreak, Lonesomeness, Love

Thoughts on System of a Down?

I love old SOAD. Aerials is one of my favorite songs ever. Simple, yet great song. Their newest couple of albums were decent, but not on the level of their old stuff IMO.

A Perfect Circle is one of the best bands of this generation, but not everybody digs it. Maynard is a god of our time and it's amazing to me how few people know him. Obviously, Tool is better, but still.

Mike Patton is also a trailblazer that nobody recognizes, but should.

    • I know that. I'm not predicting it. Just putting the information out there so I will have receipts for later on when this dude turns into a stud at this level too.  It's kinda bittersweet, he'd help our offense out a great deal, but I'm wanting a QB next draft, so adding another weapon for Bryce is counterproductive in that regard.
    • I'm not sure if NO will be as QB aggressive as some assume.  They may focus on landing a top line prospect and slow rolling the rebuild for next year.  Could see them roll the dice in R3-4 to compete with Rattler, maybe a Howard fit.     I think the QB starved team's just take the gamble the Saints don't want Sanders, and target a mid to late 1st pick for a trade up to land him.  Still don't think Milroe or Shough are going R1.   But I think what may get lost in the trade up talk is about it being QB specific. A top team trying to get over the top could be the juicy trade (or two) that happens in round 1. Something I've flirted with is how aggressive Buffalo could be.  They have the ammunition for a big trade up, and I think Golden would pair super well with Coleman.  They need to cut to the chase and get playmakers there for Allen.  So yeah, love the idea of a BUF/ATL trade where they move up for him.  I'm even thinking about LAR getting aggressive for Warren or Loveland.  Imagine McVay rolling into 2026 with that added piece for a future QB...
    • Unfortunately, Ice, there are some blueprints of hybrid LB/edge players who were busts too--Everette Brown is one, but he was forced into a 4-3 DE role here.  I would say that the 3-4 defense has a lot of wiggle room for hybrids at the OLB/Edge position--I am just not seeing Walker as an elite player at any one role.  Coverage?  Rushing the passer from the 9?  And at his size... If we take him, I hope that I am wrong because there are some personalities I really would love to be on this roster.  Jihaad Campell is one.  Bech is another.
