Cam already said the accident gave him perspective........that football is just a game and that he doesn't care when he got back on the field and that what matters most is being with his family right now.

 

 

So your theory may have back-fired a bit ;)

 

Only teasing, but seriously I think you guys are looking in to this way too much...

It's just one of those things you say.

 

"I'll write you every month!" to someone moving away. You don't.

 

"Never again!" after drinking heavily. Ha.

 

"Wow, this changed my life." You forget it after a few weeks.

 

This wasn't even bad. We all saw him smiling on the concrete. Heck, I was t-boned once. Car hit my door. Window shattered in my face. Nothing changed. This will not make Cam play better. Give me a break.

I don't think it will make him play better but your dead wrong if you don't think it will put things in perspective.......for a short while. And that perspective does create change. It's not like 5 years from now he will be like omg I almost died in a car wreck. But those incidents stay with you subconsciously
