So if the Panthers December performance turns out to be not good enough to get us to the playoffs but good enough that it saves the jobs of most - or even all - of the coaching staff, how do you expect you'll react?

 

I don't really know how I'd react, but isn't it frustrating that it feels like we ask this exact same question almost every year? Ugh. I can think of maybe two seasons in the last ten years when we weren't asking this question in one way or another.

Rivera already has the injury bug excuse to save his job.  He's back for 2015, and unless he dumps Shula or Rodgers, so is the rest of the Coaching Staff.

By rooting for Ron Rivera or Mike Shula or other incompetent men to keep their jobs you are actively rooting for the failure of players like Cam Newton, Kelvin Benjamin, etc etc etc.

It's crazy how this season is so reminiscent of 2009. Huge expectations coming off a 12-4 season leading to tons of crushing losses only to rally in December. The '09 Panthers were 4-7 going into December and finished 8-8. Fox saved his job because of that for at least one more year. The season that followed 2009? Yes, that would be the 2-14 Clausen year.

I would give up on the Panthers next season and not watch a game until at least Shula is fired.
