Hope Ron doesn't name a starter until Sunday

I know everyone is going crazy wondering who's under center on Sunday. I, for one, hope they don't announce anything until Sunday morning. Keep Cam practicing all week, even if you have no intention of playing him. Keep everyone in Cleveland looking over exponentially more film preparing for both guys.

what they shoukd do is say Cam is having a setback or two, but not nam the starter, making clevland think and prepare for DA.

And then have Cam start last second.

But honestly we dont even need to do that, we will win regardless. I can feel the focus with the team. And clevland looks to be falling apart

unless he knows and keeps it under wraps (I don't think he would do), I disagree.  With any other position I'm ok with it, but the starter at QB needs the majority of the reps, by late in the week, if its cam, he needs to get in synch and dive into the game plan and same goes to Anderson.  It's too late in the season with too much on the line to get cute.

They should just name DA the starter now & say Cam will be the backup. Practice DA with the 1s during media portions of practice, then switch Cam to the 1s when it's private.

DA comes out of the tunnel & starts the game. Handoff to Stewie on the first play, then Cam comes in for DA.

Stadium would explode.

I'm not too concerned either way. The Browns season is over and they've been a horrendous funk offensively. I think the Panthers will win with DA or Cam. Also a two week rested Cam for the Week 17 showdown would be beneficial.

 

Our problem is Drew Brees. We need him not to start for NO.

what I saw today (on TV) was DA getting reps with the red vest on and Cam just moving around on the side............playing catch

It will depend on how Cam feels tomorrow, if he is good, and practices fully, he will start Sunday. We'll need him, Browns are not the Bucs.
