I dont really see the bust label on Mariota. Winston is throwing interception at the college level left and right. What do you think he's going to do at the nfl level

Winston's play and decision making on the field this season was poor.....throw in his immaturity and off the field issues and he is a HUGE risk for a bust.

Heard speculation that Mariota could succeed if he goes somewhere where he could sit and learn for a while, but that he's doomed if he starts immediately (which is likely to happen given where he'll be picked).

 

Had a friend of mine say that Winston actually is the person that some people thought Newton was.  Big question with him will probably be the atmosphere he goes to.  If it's an organization that plays fast and loose and doesn't keep a tight rein on rookies, that could be trouble.

Listened to Mariotta's interview on Dan Patrick earlier this week. Some of his more revealing statements:

 

MM has never called a play in the huddle while at Oregon.

MM has never taken a snap from under center while at Oregon.

 

He may need to sit for a season or more, but if he goes first round, they'll want him to play ASAP.
