Winning games vs draft position

Yes because 90% of these drafted OTs have done so well adjusting to the NFL. You can keep bringing up that our situation blows but no rookie was going to be our savior this season. Get over it.

the vast majority of the over paid free agents have flamed out too. the simple fact it that the OT talent pool sucked ass last year. there just wasn't a crop of good OTs to be had, especially at our price range.

They were still better than the talent that the Panthers have on their roster. Did you notice how those undrafted free agents ruined the season off the jump?

here are some facts.Anthony Collins would have been a Panther if he wouldn't have decided to play for Tampa instead.now you want to talk about DG dodging a bullet, well there you go.furthermore,Jared Veldheer never received an offer from DG unlike Anthony Collins.

so it really makes you wonder after the Bell and Chandler fiasco this year actually how good is DG at evaluating OTs.

Voth has mentioned a few times the Panthers never made an offer to Collins

It's so easy to chime in now. Anybody can look like a genius but the fact is we were cash strapped, and we can't get a hold of every FA and UDFA.

you entirely missed my point.DG wanted to pay Anthony Collins around 30 million dollars to play in Carolina.thank goodness that deal fell through for the betterment of the team, right.and name another tackle that DG pursued with that same 30 million dollars.heres a hint, nobody, just Anthony Collins.

btw,if we had properly addressed this aforementioned issue of concernment in the offseason.well guess what,we would have more than likely already clinched the NFCS.

DG did not offer Collins anything.  There was never an offer.

It's tough because Gettleman is proving to be an asset in the drafting and undrafted department. I would love a top ten pick but winning feels good. I trust Dave to round up studs and role players for us regardless of our position.

While we have missed on "Elite" starters I think we have done well with G'mans first two picks. (Star and KB).

Getting Cooper would really be nice but I cannot believe in this Era of football that Cooper is going to be the only impact WR in the draft. I have faith in G'man to get us quality players throughout the draft and UDFA.
