With Rivera being the reigning coach of the year, it would surprise me if he got fired. If Shula and Rodgers take the fall this year, we'll know Gettleman is taking the reigns rather that giving Ron enough rope to hang himself next year.

 

This team has enough talent to be at least a .500 team, especially giver how bad our division is. They've been coached down, simple and plain. Whether it be the lackadaisical training camp, the terrible on-field personnel decisions, the poor game management and play calling. This is a sub par coaching staff. I would love to see them all go, but I'm afraid they are staying.

Rivera isn't an idiot... there will be definitely be coach firings at the end of the season. probably including shula. that's what the exit interviews are for. when gettleman and ron sit down with everyone i'm sure that's when cam will let them know what he wants out of his offense.

I think Rivera's job really all depends on how this team performs these last two games. If somehow we lose ground then I can see Gettleman pulling the trigger.
