Think about your position on this. Do you honestly believe they would try to resign him after all the turmoil and money he has caused this team (they couldn't sign him before he went bad). There is no way they would put themselves in this situation again. Many assume he will be found innocent next year, no one can guarantee anything with the court system. Time to cut the cord. Quite frankly I don't care about the future. If he stays, goes, whatever. What puts me on a razors edge of madness is THIS year. We are STILL in the hunt with 10% of our cap gone after he played in week 1. The NFC is obviously wide open and we have/had/will continue to have one arm behind our back. Our future is bright but we will have to pay Cam and this year is/was a golden opportunity to make a run before that happens. If he's untouchable around the league and he wants to come back here for a year on a cheap deal to reestablish his value they would be foolish to dismiss it out of hand since the only reason any of this has happened is because the NFL is run by a bunch of gutless morons who forced us to suspend him all season when that has literally NEVER happened before for a charge of this nature.

 

If we can get him on something like a one year 5 million deal then we should do it.   That's all based on the assumption he is ultimately found not guilty at his trial.  Of course, if that happens some other team might come running with a huge contract, but I kind of doubt it at this point.

The amount of manpower and time it would take for every DWLR offender to be arrested would swamp and trump more serious crimes, at least in Mecklenburg County. Again, it CAN happen, but in MECKLENBURG COUNTY, it USUALLY does NOT unless there are other factors swinging the pendulum that way. These factors could even include what time of the day it is and what else is happening in the city. In Holders case, she likely was one of the lucky ones that dodged the arrest for any number of reasons. The offense and appearance before a judge is still the same-not crime of the century, but more serious than many think.

LOL what about Domestic, assault, B and E. Might just want to let them off with a ticket as well because we would not want to over crowd the jail. At least in South Carolina you are not allowed to let someone drive off without registration much less on a suspension. But what do I know I was just a reserve deputy for 3 years.
