Greg Olsen is a baller

Career high for receptions the past two weeks. Leads the league in receptions for a TE. Also now holds the franchise record for receiving yards and receptions in a season for a TE.

I remember when he first got here and everyone underestimated him because he could never catch the ball and was never reliable. Now he's the opposite. He's matured tremendously. 

We've gotta get this guy to a Pro Bowl.

3. His first year in Carolina, 2011, he shared time with Jeremy Shockey who caught 37 balls for 455 yards and four touchdowns.

2. Kerry Collins and Steve Beuerlein were his QBs.  

-Collins was not very accurate at 51.8% while he and Walls were both Panthers (1996-1998.)  

-Steve Beuerlein was much more accurate at 61.55% (1998-1999.)

3. During his best four years, Walls led the Panthers in receiving touchdowns in 1996, 1997, and 1999.  He finished 3rd in 1998 behind Rocket Ismail (8), and Mushin Muhammad (6.)

lol yeah I just pretended I didn't read that part. There has been nothing but love for Greg on this board that I've seen. Even if people critiqued him...there was never hate.

Always been a Greg fan.. I was surprised when we got him. Best thing about him is his mental game. He WANTS it.. Those are the type of players that win big games. He helps the other guys get into that tough mindset of nothing is going to stop me I'm going to score.

 

Im sure Greg is frusterated as hell 80 percent of the time with playcalls and things on the team in general of conservative over lords/fans. 

 

Really hope he gets into the pro bowl. If the media can hop the fug off manziel for a fuging second.
