Green and JJ/Teletovic trades would be worth talking about. Green in particular could help us spread the floor, but I really don't see Boston wanting to let go of his skill set to take on another guard that can't shoot (they've already got Bradley, Evan Turner, and Rondo none of which can shoot). They'd want a pick or possibly one of our youngsters, and Jeff Green's expiring contract (rental) isn't worth Lance and a 1st rounder.

 

Chandler is an inefficient chucker that doesn't help us and Evans really brings the same game that Lance does.

 

I'm scared of taking on Johnson at his age. Next year there really is a high chance that he's going to be old, beat down, and worthless. Look what happened to SJax in the short time he was in Charlotte. Whereas Lance would be 25 with another year of experience and entering his prime. Teletovic, though, could end up a nice player. I just don't know if it cancels/balances JJ.

To me, JJ makes infinitely more sense than Lopez just based on team needs.  I don't get the infatuation with Lopez at all.  I mean, he's a fine player, but I don't think he fixes any of our glaring weaknesses.

I like Lopez because he is a career 18 ppg scorer while shooting 51% from the field and nearly 80% from the FT line.

JJ is a sub .450 shooter overall and sub .400 from 3. He isn't that effecient although his shooting would help us some
