I'd say the latter is probably allowing Harper to play more to his strengths, likely Gentleman's vision when he signed him in the first place.

He had one pressure. At time I would see him on the field looking OFF the field during the play even when the ball was near him... Just running around I have no idea what the hell he was doing.

He has played well lately (he did miss a tackle on McCown tho). He just can't get that Saints stench off of him so fans want to hate him.

It took him a while to get adjusted to the defense but has played better lately as he has gotten more comfortable

I was impressed on this play too. Colin was a blitzer on this play, reversed and still caught the ball carrier. That's speed, fellas.
