Are #70 and #68 the best rookie OG tandem in the NFL?

They've actually played well the past two games. However, I feel most of the trash talk had to do with Amini and Chandler. Bell is still a turnstile, but can it even be doubted that he is better than Chandler?

Norwell has played well all season really and that has been acknowledged while he's on the field. Turner has gotten better as well. So they have emerged. I won't anoint them until they do it the next 3 games but it looks like the answer was on the roster.

Good lord dude Norwell and turner have been good for more than one game

Anyone that thinks Turner and Norwell have only been good for one game probably doesn't pay attention to the games.

I've heard about Turner and Norwell looking good at times but the o line has been he tying completely pood on on this board, as well as the entire team, but after 1 blowout of a team that is having just as bad a season as us, all the sudden we are a dynasty in the making... I just cannot understand the logic

Until Saints we had the worst OL in the league, then suddenly it's risen due to Remmers and Norwell performing. With Trai a lot of us hoped he'd make the impact he's made. Can we beat the Browns and Falcons away? Well, we're going to need the OLine to show us their play-off worth!

they've emerged after 1 game? Because before the saints game all I heard was trash talk about the o line. I'll wait to see a few good performances strung together to be convinced, not just this saints game.

Alright, seems like many people are missing the boat on this one.

Turner and Norwell have not arrived in one game. They are still the same. What has changed is the offensive coaching philosophy. In one game the offense went from a grind it out win at the line offense to an offense with moving parts. They swung the OL, they pulled a lot more, and they moved the QB around.

This OL is the weakest link on the field, but the weakest link on the team is the coaching and last week proves it.

If the Panthers offense goes into a game using their OL to win on offense, they will lose. If they go into a game and move their OL changing defensive angles and allowing the RBs and Cam to choose angles on the attack, then the Panthers will produce. Play to your strengths and not your weaknesses. It took the Panthers 13 weeks to figure this out.

If they continue to run a style of offense that utilizes movement, the spread, and quick passing/decisions, then the offense will produce. If they go back to a game manager/ball control offense that relies on the OL to be the best part of the team, then they will lose again.

I only hope the coaches realized their flaws, and did not just stumble into the answer while not knowing it is the answer.

Not sure how many other rookie tandems are out there right now, I was pondering this question on the john during my pre-run dump. Figured why not toss it out to the pervs on the Huddle?

Well, I don't think I've every read a post where I needed to kill a pig to get that picture out of my head, before.  Can't deny they're doing well.  Can't think of any other tandems at this point.  I hope everything came out okay and you are feeling refreshed.

I'm still wondering how the huddle can go from "our O - Line is horrible & we need to draft/sign 4 new people to surround Kalil" to "Our O - Line is set for the future we just need to draft a LT" in just 1 game

don't worry, after the next horrible game they have the same people will be back to saying overhaul the entire thing... Pretty funny if you ask me

If by best you mean only, welllll still "best" rooks tandems.

I've be meaning to ask, which one is the third round pick? If you didn't know, just judge on play. Both can pull and block in open space VERY good. Still I'm tempering my OG boner, until I see more play form better DL.
