I'm not a Michael Sam fan by any means, and certainly don't condone his lifestyle. What baffles me is that Sam was in fact a better player than Ealy in college, and yet Ealy gets drafted way higher. Most will say it's because Sam was too small or what not, but the reality is that he's a homo. If Ealy works out in due time, I'll eat my words, but I think that the pick on him was a wasted one. We could have used O-line help or drafted another WR at his spot.

Just my .02 and I realize it's not the popular thing to say, but it's what I believe to be true.

You still think this is a wasted pick after seeing how our pass rush struggles this season?

You know you can draft a player on potential and need right? What potential did Gaffney had BTW? He was a Stanford system back like Taylor and Gerhart

Ealy was not the BPA available Morgan Moses had a higher grade by most scouts and was still available, Allen Robinson was also still available if I remember correctly

This panthers team wasn't a rebuilding team we needed players to contribute right away not 3 years in the future.

Tell me more about how morgan moses is proving that he should have been a 2nd round pick. I would also like to see the draft boards that NFL front offices were looking at which had Moses as BPA, please do not cite walterfootball, todd mcshay, or bleacher report.
