Tip off: 8 PM EST

Past Results:

Memphis - 71

Charlotte - 69

Last time these teams met, it was an ugly game.  With it being the Hornets second game of the year, both teams came out and shot 36% from the field.  There were a total of 39 TO between the two teams, the Hornets having 20 of those.

Since that game, both teams have gone in different directions.  Memphis is sitting pretty near the top of the West while Charlotte is busy playing catch up, but two straight wins and more practices is giving this team more confidence.

With the return of MKG, I think this game will be closer than it would've been a week ago.

Projected Starters

CHA:

Kemba

Lance

MKG

Zeller

Big Al

MEM:

Conley

Allen

Vince

Z-Bo

Gasol

Looking forward to a hard fought game.  Hornets seem to be flowing better offensively, and hopefully the win on Wednesday night, one of the more complete games from the team, will carry into tonights game.

Projection

Charlotte - 84

Memphis - 80

    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
    • I like him too and he is definitely worthy of a top pick but I personally just worry that we have nobody to throw him the ball. Bryce is incapable and Dalton is old and will be even older next season. If we go TMAC, then we must sign a proven vet QB. People may not like the idea but I like Jameis Winston for that role next season just because he can and will throw it all over the field. If he could get a d keep the ints down he would look very solid most games.
