Muhsin Muhammad gets some recognition

After Muhammid left.. I saw a trend this franchise loves to tear good recievers apart.. brought in Shockey was doing well with him, cut him.. doing well with Me'Shawn doing well cut'em.. granted I am sayin they were paired with Steve Smith..just have no faith the management can build a good core as they will bring in a good reciever and cut Benjamin..

Muhammad was really good. It's a shame he went to the Bears as I felt the Panthers offense never was the same after he left. He wanted too much money though. Back when Hurney was frugal.

The numbers were pretty but with al of our RBs down late in the playoffs, maybe Jake throws less INTS against SEA with a more veteran WR like Moose out there and pressure is taken off steve.

Drew Carter and Keary Colbert weren't exactly the guys you want to be depending on deciding whether you go to the SB or not.

I was a teenager then so my memory may not be the greatest but that Seattle game, to me, was the beginning of the end of Delhomme's career. I don't know if having Moose over anyone else would have mattered that much, he played bad.

Oh, it would have helped. Virtually all our backs were injured, so we had to start Nick Goings, and he left shortly into the game; Julius Peppers was also out due to injury. This allowed Seattle to literally triple-cover Steve Smith the whole game. That wasn't on Delhomme, it was just a bad situation. If we had Moose, they wouldn't have been able to triple-cover Steve and we would have had another target to throw to

Had Chicago done what Seattle did on defense, Carolina may not have won that game. Fortunately, Lovie was way too stubborn and Jake and Smitty had a field day.

It was the beginning of the end for Hurney. After that game, Hurney was scared of not having enough running backs. You see the results with the cap hell we've been in for the last several years concerning running backs.

I don't remember... did Proehl miss that game too? I know he played against Chicago because I remember him catching a pass on third and short and barely got the first.
