You and everyone else who wants him to start are irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the coaching staff believes Stewart plays better when he DOES NOT START, which is why he doesn't.

They started him a few years ago, and he didn't respond well. That's why they believe it.

On this issue, their reasoning is sound.

we shouldn't start J.Stew because its bad luck,lmao,are you serious?

Most of you don't seem to have any reading comprehension or have the memory of a potato chip. Ron explained it whether you agree or not. He likes Stewart coming off the bench or not being named the starter because when he last started any significant time he played uninspired and poorly. So he names Williams the starter to motivate Stewart and then plays whoever does well.

And for those who think if Williams did start we go three and out against Tampa in the first 3 and out the first game it was Tolbert who got -1 yards when it was 3rd and 1 . Williams had a 6 yard carry when it was 2nd and 7.

Stewart will be the starter and Williams won't play but he won't name a starter to keep Stewart motivated. Now go back to you regularly scheduled bitching and complaining about Rivera.

It might be if Stewart had started many games since then or done that well. In his only start in 2013 he had 14 carries for 39 yards. In his first 4 starts this year he didn't have a game over 50 yards. Truth is he didn't have a game over 100 yards until NO. What is retarded is paying him tens of millions of dollars to ride a stationary bike and have1 break out game in the last 3 years so far.
