I'm seriously considering firing someone in my office that keeps making jokes about it. She's a total idiot to begin with, but you're right, people have no filter and think it's funny. Put any one of them in Cam's situation and they wouldn't be joking about it, that's a fact.

Very few would be joking about it. Cam is the man and has humility and he's a bright, joyful kid so I wouldn't be surprised to see him joke about it (not in public but like with his teammates or friends, and assuming it's not his fault). He looked like he was smiling or laughing on that sidewalk in the pictures after.

That's one reason why I love Jim Rome's show. He literally says "more of me, less if you" because 90% of calls into radio shows are terrible. Have a take and don't suck.

Taking every phone call is lazy radio. Anyone can be a radio host by taking phone calls for three hours.

My "favs" right now are the ones calling in on WFNZ and saying: "I'm a huge fan of (insert team that's not the Panthers) but what WE need to do is sit him out. He is OUR future..." What the hell? You call everyday saying you are another team's fan and then it's all "we" and "our" and "us". For those so invested in their Cowboys, Steelers, Saints, Seahawks, whatever, they sure do spend every morning calling in talking about the Panthers. Ugh.

I've think I have come to the conclusion that the majority of people who follow sports in depth are just dumb to begin with. Not all, but most.

 

Imo, its a small minority.

Actually it's not, but I realize a complex sentence may be difficult to to comprehend by a person of your obvious limited abilities.

(P.S. It's really sloppy practice to end your sentences with a preposition.)
