What About That Truck?

A beater car to drive to and from work...

I remember Jordan Gross driving out of the parking lot at 3AM following the 2003 playoff game against Philly.... in a real old 2-tone green Ford pickup that looked as though he drove it off the farm... which he probably did.

BOA was mobbed with fans who waited for their return and we were lining the streets as the players left. I stood there and spoke with Jordan in his truck for a few minutes while the traffic was bumper to bumper.

People sometimes dont take stock in spending a lot on cars (for good reason).

Chris Weinke I remember drove an old ass Bronco or something similar. Ben Hartstock lived in a double wide trailer. I dont hate on him for driving and spending money on something that gets him from point a to point b (granted I know that's a "special" truck compared to usual, but it still isn't a million dollar car etc)

Maybe he just wanted to be inconspicuous driving around town in it, and maybe he likes the old body style of that truck, I mean it was bad ass.

"Hey look, a millionaire driving around town in a dodge truck instead of a Ferrari or Maserati. Let's try and make fun of it somehow."

The fact that this was his vehicle makes you think, hes just a 25 year old kid

How? When I was younger I had managers that drove cars like that (in their mid 30's). Is it a family car? Hell no but it isn't some high end Lamborghini or some stupid car that would have evaporated in just getting scratched.

Also remember hes over 6'4 and over 250 lbs. You think getting a small sedan or a sports car is comfortable? I have a cousin who is 7' and his first car was a mustang...he kept it for two months before trading it for a truck
