I had just woke up and my friend had texted me, "did you hear about Cam Newton?" he rarely ever heard about Panthers news before me, so I figured it was old... I had alerts from news sources in Charlotte on Twitter and opened it, only to see those photos of first responders huddled around a person on the ground... I almost got sick to my stomach. I was instantly thinking of Bobby Phills... Scary stuff. Obviously football is secondary, the main thing is that everyone is okay...

That being said, I really hope and pray Cam is 100% and able to play lol.

Early indications seem to think he is going to be ok thank goodness.  But I am sure time will tell if there will be any lingering affects.  Hope there are none.

Late to the party.  A few little notes:

 

-It's unreal how low Saints fans stoop.  Bama, ATL, and TB have shown more respect and their boards seem genuinely concerned for the guy...meanwhile at that sh*tty Saints board, it's like 50/50 ripping on him after they cheered when he went down this Sunday.  That's fuggin pathetic.  

 

-People making jokes and those pedestaling themselves to bash those who do -- just shut up.  You all look like idiots.  

 

-Glad he's ok

 

I saw that too, theres no class on that forum or in that fanbase.  I really don't have anything positive to say about them.   I'm so happy now that I have tickets to the game Sunday, my first game is a big game at home and either Cam heroically comes back, or DA comes in and the team stands behind their team leader.  Praying Cam is alright after all of this.

I did wonder even after initial reports that he was okay a out concussions and such. Visibly he is okay, but that was pretty jarring.
