JJ Watt Question

These guys in my league are arguing that they should be getting points every time JJ Watt scores a TD as a TE because they have Houston's defense. Is this common in the leagues any of you play in? I don't want to be the guy that bitches but that seems weird. It's not an IDP league. And I say they plural because the league is $250 to get into and two of the guys could no longer afford to play so they each paid $125 and own a team together.

In fantasy baseball if your pitcher hits a HR you do not get credit for it in your stats, you only get his pitching stats.  I think that it would make sense for it to work the same way here and for him not to get points.  DEF should only score points while playing defense.

In my league, you would have to start Watt as a TE. Because he is an individual player lining up on offense, he takes an offensive position. No DE on the offensive line.

Ridiculous argument, houstons defense is not scoring the points. So when sheldon richsrdson comes into the Game to block for chris ivory on the goal line for a TD are you giving the jets D a Td?
