Everybody has critcized those 'outrageous' triple options with Cotch in the backfield... Well that was the play on Stewart's TD run. Maybe Shula ain't as bad as we thought when the players are executing... That or the Saints are just THAT bad.

That play reminded me of Leveon Bell's big run against us. Linebackers over pursued, bad gap control and good vision by the running back to notice it and kick it outside.

Although the saint's fail set that up, it was stews vision and decisiveness that hit the home run.

Much like the QB is a blocker in the read option so is Cotchery on those plays.

His primary purpose is to occupy a man and become a defacto blocker because you have to account for him.

They play isn't necessarily designed to pitch to Cotchery.

Having said that he does have to be a credible threat
