Looks like we landed at least 4 starting caliber players from the 2014 draft class

"Starting caliber players"? Plenty of guys who suck "start" all around the league.

Are any of those guys "GAME CHANGERS"? We don't know that yet. Benjamin only has elite height, nothing else "elite" based on what we've seen so far.

Philly Brown ain't no Julio Jones.

Someone has to "start." I want some game changers at those positions.

Bene's INT a "game changer"?

Philly's TD vs. ATL not a "game changer"?  (even though we boofed it at the end)

You don't find "game changers" in many entire drafts, much less multiples in 2 years of drafting.

It may be time for you to have a conversation with realism.

Apparently you don't understand the difference between A PLAY changing a game, and a player being a game changer.

A player making a game changing play doesn't make that player a game changer. No one is developing a game plan focused on either of those guys, and odds are they never will.

I am "being real." You don't have game changers on your team BY DEFAULT.

My whole point was SLOW YOUR ROLLS. Neither Julio Jones or Patrick Peterson is walking through that door yet.

Or maybe you do, and don't understand that there is also a "salary cap".

Or maybe you do understand there aren't many "game changers" and that there is a "salary cap" but forget that there are 32 teams in the NFL.

forreal, rookie pass rushers almost never make an impact

The Superstars do on occasion (Peppers for example), but that's about it.  And even some of them struggle.  If memory serves, it took Michael Strahan a couple of years to become a force.   Of course, we don't need Ealy to become a superstar.  It would be great if he did, but if he is a solid defensive end, then that is enough.

if you get 4 "game changers" as you defined them in a single draft then it's on the short list of the greatest of all time dude

the best draft in franchise history by far was 2001 where we landed morgan, smitty, and jenkins.  and that was only 3 players that were eventual all pros/pro bowlers.

if you have a GM consistently getting 1 potential star that starts and plays as well as a comparable veteran as a rookie (star/short in 2013, benjamin in 2014) + 2 or 3 rookie contributors that look solid and could eventually become good starters (norwell, turner, klein (2013), bene) and a couple of project type players that have shown a flash or two (ealy, boston) then you're well ahead of the curve.

I said we needed "game changers," not that they all needed to come from a single draft.

Of course I understand how "few" game changers are in the NFL, which is why I said Philly Brown and Benwikere weren't "game changes." Perhaps you should try to lecture the guy who tried to argue that there are as many game changers as there are game-changing plays in a game.

Ealy will grow and develop. Haven't heard much at all from any rookie DEs this season

Yep. Remember the monster that was Dee Ford? I've heard he's basically been a bench warmer this season. So I don't have any harsh feelings against Ealy, at least until his 3rd year.
