KB should continue to get better at routes, but...those hands

top dawg

Yeah he's having a great season but he has dropped some seriously big time passes that would have meant a lot of good for us. His hands are inconcsistent and inconsistent execuction by a lot of players has led to the season we are having. On one deep pass cam throws a poor deep route, even though Kelvin had good posistion. On cam. The next, Cam throws a gorgeous pass perfectly in the bread basket and Kelvin flat out drops it.

Veteran or rookie, you are paid millions of dollars and you need to catch. the. football. Especially when it hits both hands.

How is Kelvin having a historical year? I was merely pointing out you are going overboard.

He isn't having the best year this season nor doing anything we haven't seen others do before.

He is having a nice season. I personally thought he would max at 700 and 9 TD. I am very pleased

No Panthers fan has ever seen a rookie do this before. He is rewriting our franchise record book for rookies. Other guys are playing well but this is the best rookie season I've ever witnessed for a WR.

And you must have me confused because how can I go overboard when that was my only comment?

To me he is a glorified te. Doesn't have the top end speed to extend a play but very good. A high wr2.

That is how I view him. He doesn't have the AJ Green or Johnson type ceiling. Or even a Dez. He leans more toward a TE type mismatch.

Which is fine. Still need speed on the field. He isn't a Mr. Everything. But there are maybe 2-4 of those playing at a time

look,Jerry Rices knock during his rookie season in the NFL was having unreliable hands.however,he overcame this deficiency by learning how to catch the ball with his fingertips instead of using the palm of his hand.i have noticed the same flaw in KB,

The JUGS machine is overrated.  Ricky can teach KB to become a better route runner, but really can't do anything for his hands.  Moreover, would KB be a top 15 pick?  That was said earlier this year, but I kind of doubt it.  He has been forced to play here because we suck.  I would argue that if Allen Robinson, Donte Moncrief, Davante Adams, and Jarvis Landry had been here, then you'd probably be saying the same thing about them (as opposed to Benjamin who would have been riding the bench).

Yes KB would be a top 15 because of what he has shown this year. None of those rookies you listed could make the types of catches KB has made this year.

If he shores up the bone head drops, he'll be the steal of the draft.

Beckham Jr and Evans can make some sick catches. They all can go video game mode
