Gotta say A. And I hope it's this year. Not to sell our young guys short, but this year just happens to be when one of my favorite QBs hits the market. I'd love to see Dan Lefevour come play for the cats

i think we will have a period after jake leaves that we will be looking for someone. i just remember how hard it was for us to get a solid guy there in the 1st place. we had allot worse before and i am worried it will be like that again as we try to find someone worth using.

well considering, i've read from several sources that foxy and co prefer picking up qbs with some experience (in order to avoid the rookie curve), i'd go with free agency. but i do remember hurney being high on ryan. i think, in the next few years (if our draft position was right) we could draft a QB.

Jason Campbell's contract is up with Washington next year and this town is sick and tired of him..

he is the perfect QB for Foxy IMHO.. i hope the SKins release him and we pounce

Free agency for sure....can't see the team trying to start from scratch. How long could a team last in Charlotte with a bunch of poor seasons in a row?

I think it will come by trade but not for a Jay Cutler type of QB. It will be more on along the lines of a backup getting his chance to start ie Matt Shaub or Bret Farve or Steve Young.

Best chance to land a top tier QB in the NFL is through the draft.

Every now and again a top signal caller is found through FA, but not often enough for a team to rely upon that at the most important position.

IMO we are in the perfect position to draft a top tier QB and let him sit and learn the game for a couple of seasons, but we keep trading our 1st rounders. Which I am not very happy about.

I have said this very thing many times. He is serviceable as a WCO QB, but his skills, mental toughness, and leadership seem very well-suited to the power-running, big play type offense.

That said, I still like Moore and hope to see him earn the spot.

I think this is the kid I heard a former college QB I know of online raving about. Where does he play? Might have to watch a few games.
