Wow when Cam has time....

Cam is definitely a great QB and can ball.  I want to see him work on being a signal caller in this league.  The biggest two differences about this game is the offensive line play and the running game.  Remmers (sp) has held down that RT spot so far, and Stew got a decent amount of carries as our starter.  You continue to give Stew the ball, and this offense will be jamming.  Now, our receivers need to step their game up.  KB had a big drop today, and it looks like Philly Brown has an injured shoulder.  Hopefully that is not serious.

I keep seeing this brought up.

Is this true?

TBH, it's all speculation on my part. Our offense just looked so explosive and new that I find it hard to believe that Shula was behind that. I don't say that just because our offense had a good game, I say that because I saw new things in that game that I didn't see all of Shula's tenure here.

No Shulong and no Dwill..accidental win? I think not... got to see the backfield I've been wanting to see, Jstew and Tolbert...big meat. Jstew falling for 5-6 yards, hitting holes. Lines played great...most schizophrenic team ever. that offensive gaming is nothing I've seen before...

Cam has been getting time the last few games. Glad to see we took advantage of the time. But I have to say the run game was the key element today.

Exactly.

Having an explosive run game put the defense on its heels and allowed the entire play book to be opened up.

Great play calling and great play all around today.

You would have pie if you would have stopped right there

Signal calling and directing the offense is something he needs to perfect if he wants Peyton money in his next contract.  At least that is how I feel.  I don't want good games every now and again, I want consistent 12 game winning seasons and superbowls.  In order to get to that step, he needs to take over everything.

    • What are the matchups, stats and superlatives?   I think this will be a hard game. Bucs are a very balanced team on offense:  7th  in total yards per game, 7th in passing, 10th in rushing. Baker is having another career year even better than last year but despite missing his Godwin and Evans. Bucs defense is poor (29th) particularly passing defense, but we’re also depleted in our receiving with Coker and Sanders likely out. Running Chuba is key but their defense is better against the run. (16th) I think this is likely going to require us to score a lot of points to keep up and hopefully the home field advantage tips the scale in our favor. My other concern is our run defense and being able to stop their rookie study Bucky Irving who the Bucs have shifted more carries to recently and he’s averaging 5.4 ypc and knows how to get into the endzone with 5 TDs so far.
    • This is nonsense and you know it. People will be happy when we are consistently and convincingly winning games against good teams. There are people in here talking down to others after losses and barely beating the terrible NY Giants. If you want to strut around here like only you are a real Panthers fan and rage pooing posts because your jimmies are rustled then hey good luck with all that. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving.
    • Who had the massive meltdown last year? Hope they feel better this year.
