Nah, I'd say he at the very least cost us 3 with the potential for 7. But as you said Rivera never fugging learns. He always plays conservative fug. 

 

we were in fine position for a FG with a couple of shots at the TD.  The bad incomplete call and the bad holding call cost us those points.

Ron needs to be fired on the spot no excuses if we lose this one. Some things are just flat out unacceptable. It'll also send a huge message to players

Unfortunately, I can't say with much confidence that we would consider canning him at this point. But Ron has been showing the same inadequate gameday decision making and clock management abilities for years now, and he has not learned from any of it one bit it appears.
