There is no way i can be fair and  place a percentage of blame on Cam because this current train wreck called the Carolina Panthers has to many issues.

 

If i were to play the blame game,i would start with owner Jerry Richardson for retaining Hurney, an inept GM that slowly but surely, sucked the life blood out of the team,something we are paying the price for now.

 

My blame would then shift to present HC Ron Rivera for being to conservative and keeping OC Shula, someone with a long history of failure,Rogers,the ST coach and a host of players on the team that probably couldn't make another NFL team  roster.

 

I realize it's hard for passionate, diehard fans to have patience but i feel GM Dave Gettleman will right the ship in a couple of years,if given time.If Dave can upgrade the OL,add a speedy WR to help KB,hire an OC that builds around the QB's strenghs and Cam Newton  still has the same issues,we can reflect back to this year and judge the present Cam accordingly

I respect Peyton Manning for all he's accomplished and recognize the facts he's a great football player but i could never stand the guy personally.

 

Manning always came across to me as an egotistical person that thinks and acts like the world revolves around him and his actions. Plus,I got so sick and tired of all his corny commercials on tv, i changed channels the moment

They did not have 4 to 5 legitmate pass catching options before he got there. He makes average into good, good into great. He makes his OL and his WRs successful by being accurate and consistent. They know when and where to expect the ball. He reads quickly and delivers the ball in 2.8 seconds on average. They are all on the same page. He holds them responsible and leads on the field and on the sideline. He makes an offense great when others make excuses.
