Hornets vs. Knicks Game Thread

Recommended Posts

I watched that fourth quarter with such disgust I was surprised at myself.  It looked almost like a carbon copy of the earlier Knicks game this season.  But then I realized I root for a 5-15 team and I don't get to complain about wins.  So yay Hornets.

I haven't watched it yet, but I imagine it was one of those wins that feels like a loss because we blew the big lead and had to win at last second.

The sun shines on a dogs azz some days.  I'm glad it finally showed on this azz for once.

We have 5 days where we can relish on a win.

Was at the game and blowing the 20 point lead was heartbreaking.  Almost didn't know what to do when we won at the buzzer bc it was disbelief it happened.

I like MJ as the owner... he will yell at the refs on the bs they do and stick up for his guys.

If anyone has the game on dvr go back and watch the game winning shot when it happened live. There were these NY douchebags sitting courtside by the NY bench who were jumping up and down when the Knicks took the lead on Melo's 3. Well, watch those guys when Kemba wins the game, you can see the disbelief and shock. It's absolutely fantastic.

I don't know why Henderson is getting put on blast.

Shooting wise, he is having the best year of his career. He's shooting 46% from the field and has shot over 50% from the field in 10 of the Hornets 20 games this year. Even more impressive, he's shooting 45% from outside the key (and inside the three point line). To put that into perspective, Henderson shot 39% from the same region on the floor last year (a 6% improval).

I was all over Hendo at the beginning of the year, but I think it's pretty obvious he was knocking off rust from his injury. He really has looked good the last 5 games or so.
