TD Thinks Sean Payton ran up the score in 2013

this notion of just winning by a point must be subliminally pumped in all the Panther facilities. Brainwashed BS and it's been that way almost form day one.

Panther's motto "we don't run up the score and you shouldn't do it to us because we didn't do it to you, please?"

it's a culture thing. our culture is to keep things controlled. we love our low scoring games and apparently are shocked when other teams don't do that.

this isn't just a rivera thing. fox hated high scoring games as well. i remember after one of the two wins in 2010 fox pretty much apologizied for scoring so much....and it wasn't that high of a scoring game, either. were it not for peyton running that offense/team in denver, they would be doing the same thing there.

I dont think they ran the score up on us in that game, i've seen saints games where the score was ran up, and it gets to the 50s and they even put 62 on the colts...

but fug it, i wish we'd have that bury you mentality that the high scoring teams have, what we do is embarrassing

Brees is an over achiever and needs the stats to make him look like an elite QB...which is fine with me, if they need to throw with a lead if the 4th- so be it, Brees needs the numbers. In fact, more he throws this year the more interceptions he gives away...even we can grab one two and reverse the field.

I'm not sure what happened to the huddle when we hope the Saints beat us...Even if we suck this year, i want to beat the crap out of them. They have played dirty- from bounty gate to the hit on Smitty in the end zone.

the Saints? Let's not lose our motivation...where's the threads of what a sh!thole the place is? the retarded fan base and nightly shootings in the piss filled Quarter?

Screw this....Panthers roll this sunday and bury the black and gold in one of their above ground cemeteries as Dr. John cries in his gumbo...

of course.. they run it up on everyone.

The biggest one I think of is the fuging brutal beating they put on Dallas last year on SNF.... they were relentless pushing the ball down the field for scores.. SCORES. Every drive was 100 percent for a Teeder. fug the clock fug TOP they just put as much as they could... which I don't really blame them. Why give up your momenteum and drive for moral reasons in a violent sport. Its like a UFC fight... you fuging blast the guy with a upper cut you don't pull back and wait on him to get his feet back... you keep battering him til he falls

You could call what Davis is doing a 'culture thing' too, honestly; an athletic culture, to be specific.

Football players often do and say things to fire themselves and their teammates up.  Davis is likely playing the 'they disrespected us by running up the score' card now in just such an effort.

Mind you, I don't expect it to work, but I respect that he's trying, especially given that a lot of our team just seems to be going through the motions these days.

People who think this is 'whining' are way off base.
