I'm not really an EMT, I was kidding (trying to think of an excuse why my post was worded bad. Posting while driving an ambulance would be a good excuse)

I've worked in hospitals for over a decade though (imaging) and I've got a bunch of friends that are EMTs. Those guys always have great stories.

Agreed.

 

Now they're just trying to group the two together cause Cam, his team overall, and coaches are having an awful year. Te be expected (especially concerning Cam).

 

However, I'm not sure how many sensible people who actually watched the two play, would say RG3 would be better. Even during his rookie season, RG3 was NOT  A POCKET QB WHATSOEVER. He was a guy that relied on constant motion, short passes, deception and his running game in order to be successful. That was NEVER Newton since he came into the league.

 

Despite RG3's experience as a Div 1A starter in College, Newton was much more polished as a passer than RG3 ever was, since they both entered the NFL.

 

Many of us here, continually pointed this out from day one.

First of all. I'm white, and I'm well aware that the author was black. You missed my point entirely. If you re-read my post, you'll see that I was trying to make the point that the irrational Cam detractors would feel vindicated by this type of article. (I never mentioned the author of the article.)

I should have said "immobile statue" instead of "unathletic white guy." Sorry. If either of you know anything about my posting history you would know that I'm not one of the ones who tries to stir poo up here. It was a pretty innocuous post and I'm surprised by your reactions.

I've never been a Cam apologist, but the talk of him being done in two years is crazy talk. My point remains, Cam doesn't belong in that article. RG3 and Russel Wilson lost the support of their teammates, and Kaep and RG3 are one read and run QBs. Cam is neither of those things, the only reason he is regressing is that he is getting killed out there.

I wasn't talking about the author. Please re-read my post. My post complains about the unnamed GM that is quoted and says Cam may be out of the league in two years.

That isn't possible unless he is catastrophically injured. The NFL is evolving and that unnamed GM has a good ol boy philosophy that says Cam can't succeed.

If I am wrong please educate me on how Cam could be out of the league in two years? Please don't say he is talking about injury because he isn't.
