Big Eastern Conference game Tonight!

Recommended Posts

Bulls and Hornets, 7 eastern on national TV! (NBA TV)

I know it seems like the Hornets have been shatting the bed this year but theres plenty of time to turn it around.

Hornets haven't played a game since NOVEMBER 29TH! The Bulls are coming off a Double OT loss to the Mavericks who have a potent offense.  They had to travel after that too!

Another reason to get excited is that this is the first time this year that Hornets had more than 2 nights off in a row.  In fact, since the beginning of the year on Oct. 29th, the Hornets have had only TWO 2 day breaks.  Everything else was a back to back or a single day off.

Hornets played 18 games in the month of November. (added the oct. 29th game in there)

If it seems like a lot, it is.

The rest of the year, the Hornets will play roughly 13 games a month.  More rest days means more days to recover from nagging injuries, which means more practice, which means more chemistry on the court.

November was a packed month where Charlotte played a lot of really good teams, and play well against a lot of those teams, but ran out of gas late.

Keep the faith and keep cheering this team on.  I have confidence that Cliff and the rest of the staff will get these guys in rhythm

Hornets have had a busy schedule and also played some of the better teams in the West, both here and on the road. Hopefully they can catch a break and get some Ws while MKG and Neal get healthy.

Air Zeller o_O

Glad to see coach finally put big Z in the starting lineup. Hopefully PJ will be close behind, I can't take much more Hendo ball.

Team looks decent tonight. That figures. 4-14 with a 9 game losing streak and they're gonna beat the best team in the conference.

Chicago is freaking stacked. Deepest team in the league.

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
