First off your post doesn't make sense, but I'm just going to infer what I think you are trying to say. What behavior issues does he have? Chewing people like admins smith out when they fug up? Yeah that's a positive. He fixed his behavior issues years ago

not sucker punching people anymore doesn't mean he "fixed" all his issues.

Not sure why people get so upset with the simple fact 89 is a pain/jerk in a football environment. He was here for over a deacde....it isn't a debate

Nor is the fact Smitty was our leading receiver for 10 of his years here.

Ying/Yang.

Keeping Hardy would hurt our chances for the Nobel Peace Prize. The Panthers lack toughness and continue to escort their ball sacks out the door

Nothing wrong with some crazy dudes or psychos on a roster.

But the guys with screws loose ain't the ones you want locked into the big deals. They need to complimentary pieces.

You're judging somebody on a "future" event that hasn't happened yet. If the NFL hasn't banned the guy we have no FOOTBALL reason to let him go. Franchise players are very hard to replace. If it's due to policy we deserve what we're getting as a franchise.

Sure we do....he is too expensive and makes poor choices. Bad combo.

Whatever his jury verdict is doesn't matter

And everyone with talent isn't and shouldn't be a franchise player. That is why we suck. Bc everyone on this board wanted all Hurney's boys PAID. We should of parted with some.

Pffftt, some of us wanted Hurney fired the instant he selected Stewart with a #1 pick just 2 years after selecting Dwill with a #1.

Idiot GM being a GM, as usual JR was way too slow to react.

It's a reoccurring theme.

Overwhelming majority wanted us to sign both our RBs to feature RB deals. Majority wanted pretty much everyone paid...

I still think JR gets a pass though. I think he was a big part on what happened with us "showing the money".

A 16 sack player will never be a complimentary piece. We are a medium market team. What we can't afford to do is develop stars and let them walk. We have to offer more to get talent in here thats the fine line this franchise must walk to win a SB. People are still mad at Hurney but at least he understood that part.

My thing is in this game you can't treat your top five player like the 53rd guy on the roster so they should seriously think about negotiating a fair contract for both parties. He's already got the payday he's dreamed of. Let him work off the debt and apply a zero tolerance policy going forward.

On-the-field crazy like John Randle is fine.

Off-the-field crazy leads to problems.
