Sad Practice Tweet...

Out of curiosity, were you born in 1996? I ask because it would help with trying to explain maturity.

So which is it: fact or opinion?

I'm sure that life would be very productive if we all went around assuming that our perspective was the only one and those that disagreed with us are less intelligent.

I'm not above slinging mud myself, but to sit there and say that we're entitled to act like a bunch of children because we're adults is absolutely absurd.

Almost as absurd as this practice tweet would've been if Cotchery or Bersin were the ones running the Go routes.

My jersey number in high school and college was 96. We are entitled to say whatever the fug we want, is my point. If it hurts someones feelings who the fug cares, that's their problem. If I want to call someone who says "Cam is the worst starting QB in the league" a fuging dumbass then I should be able to.

You can't just talk about offense, defense and ST is a huge part of winning games.

I'm talking about building an offense around a QB.....2014 is the worst offensive cast. By far.

Okay, the total team viewpoint. 2014 still isn't better than 2011. Offensively, that supoorting cast was better.

You think the 2014 D? And ST? Two of the worst units in the NFL makes the 2014 team better surrounding a QB than 2011?

2011 D wasn't getting their doors blown off. They were in games. ST isn't better....we could field punts and punt in 2011.

Personal attacks are against the huddle rules. Feel free to call opinions dumb, but to think you can draw overall conclusions about a person from an internet message board is, well, dumb.

I respectfully disagree, but I will continue to abide by your rules.

You are the only one here making it all or nothing, black and white. The rest of us live here in the grey area.

I said Cam overthrows his receivers. He does this A LOT. his completion percentage isn't great and his TD:INT ration isn't great. His QB rating has floated in the 80's for his career.

These are all facts.

You keep spouting some BS about how Cam has to be 100% for fans to like him or whatever point it is you're trying to make.

I love Cam and hope he gets a ten year contract here. If he left the team I'd be pissed. I flew to Arizona to see his first NFL start against the Cardinals because I was so pumped about his potential.

So you need to keep your thoughts to yourself if you have no idea what you are talking about. Me mentioning Cam's obvious flaws that have been around regardless of his WR's or offensive linemen has zero to do about whether or not I like him.

People need to stop getting so damn defensive when Cam is mentioned.

I am talking about how people are EXACTLY. I don't give a crap about Cam Newton.

I call it like it is.

The media and a lot of people on this board act like Cam Newton has to be PERFECT or he sucks.

If that offends you, then get over yourself. Cam Newton has been ripped for years just whenever he throws 1 interception in a game, yet Luck throws the same amount and Manning threw 50% more at the same point in his career. Cam's receivers drop balls in the endzone all the time, yet Cam gets criticized for not throwing more TD passes.

Those are facts. Call it defensive all you want, it's still just "observation." All I'm doing it stating it.

George W. Bush, in my opinion, was the worst President ever, but the Democrats suck as much as he did for giving him most of what he demanded. Presidents aren't legislators. Congress passed the asinine laws that Bushcorp wanted. That's a veritable fact. It's an observation. I'm not defending Bush by simply stating it, and I'm not "defensive" about Cam Newton by stating the fact that he has gotten criticized over every little mistake he's made even though they are no different and in some cases, less than those made by "great" QBs.

If he played in an offense like Manning and Luck in Indianapolis, his mistakes wouldn't stand out as much. He plays in a PATHETIC one in Carolina where everything has to go right for you to have any chance of winning. If your mind is wired to say "Well, then Cam needs to make sure he does everything right then" instead of "Why would anyone want to run an offense with no room for error," then you're the problem.

He isn't the only one on this team who makes mistakes, but in some of your minds, he's supposed to overcome everyone else's, right? He's supposed to elevate everyone else beyond theirs. (SARCASM)

Yea, I hear you, and it's not accurate.

You saying that doesn't change the fact that it is accurate any more than a racist claiming that he isn't racist.

Plenty of people around this place and in media act like Cam Newton has to be perfect or he sucks. Cam throws 1 interception and the topic becomes him turning the ball over too much. Happens all the time.

The problem isn't the one interception, it's the fact that in a Shula-Rivera offense, one interception is all it takes to ruin a game. One fumble is all it takes to give a game away.

The problem is the system they run. They play it safe. They need to take more chances, then mistakes won't be magnified as much. Stupid "fans" fixate on Cam's mistakes because the system he's in makes them stand out, and yes, that means people have no choice but to criticize him when he's not perfect, which they do.
