[Cam] hasn't proven much yet, except he can get hurt.

I think there are less, not more, as far as franchise QB's in the NFL.

I would count them in Tiers with Tier 1 being the only true Franchise QB to me

Tier 1

Brady

Luck

Manning

Rivers

Rogers

Brees

Romo

Tier 2 (close)

Rothlesberger

Flacco

Ginger Boy

Stafford

Ryan

Stafford

Coles

Wilson

Palmer (hurt)

Tier 3

The rest, not gonna divide em up between rising falling, but guys like Tannehill seems on a good trajectory while Hoyer is not, for example

Tony Romo plays hurt, Big Ben plays hurt, Brady broke a leg, Manning neck is screwed on with bolts....

It is football. Guys mobile or not....all get hurt

When a qb's entire game relies on his mobility it makes a huge difference. Most of his achievements he has made outside of his running have come as a direct result of the fact that he can run when needed. Once you make him one dimensional it's over. If he can't run because he's hurt the opposing defense can focus on covering the pass. When the Oline can't pass protect for 2 seconds and the receivers can't get separation from a turtle it's game over.

I know. Call me Sherlock.

Cam's game doesn't rely on it.

Carolina relies on it bc they aren't a well built team

When he was one dimensional THIS year he was great. THEN...they wanted more. His cast got even worse

He also broke the NFL rookie passing record with no real offseason. His OL, traditional rush all have gotten constantly worse each year around him. Each year all have gotten worse! THAT is INSANE. Now he has utter slop.

But yeah, it is a Cam thing huh?

Taking one line BP said and making it a bash session.  Sheesh.

Polian is a huge fan of Ault, his recruits and the guys he would tell him about/praise before he left Nevada.  Being closely tied with that program and Stanford, of course hes gonna favor the likes of Kaepernick, RGIII, and Luck over Cam.  His most promising son Brian probably shares the same opinion as well.

And to those saying he doesn't watch Cam--he actually goes to Panther games.  More before working so much up at ESPN but he watches and simply doesn't favor Cam over most of the young bloods.

He was a good GM who was shortsided some of the time.  He was letting Chris do a lot in Indy those last few years.

Wilson? You might as well put Cam in there. The only pass from the pocket he's mastered is the seam to the TE otherwise he's a bum in the pocket. Just watch him on critical 3rd downs, he will hold the ball and dance around, wait for the play to break down and scramble. All we hear is how bad his oline is and how he has no WRs but see Tate in DET. No wonder his passing numbers suck. He's an injury away from being ineffective as Cam has been since the CIN game.
